Signed by the architect Edan Shoher, the Adamá encaustic cement tiles have an exclusive design and an extra-thin thickness of 7/16”, different from the traditional ones found in the market, that vary from 5/8” to 13/16”. The designs pay tribute to the nature and culture of Brazil, so much so that it is present even in their names: Amazonas, Delirio, Gloria, Iemanja, Samba, Selva and Urbano.
Produced 100% by hand, the tiles have a reduced weight of 1.84lb. This ensures that the installation can be done in horizontal and vertical constructions, in combination with other coatings, such as porcelain, without the need to lower the subfloor. In addition, they have the same durability and resistance as other models on the market.
The laying can be done with flexible ACIII mortar, preferably in white or white PU, always ensuring that there is no contact between the mortar and the grout on the finishing surface, at the risk of causing irreversible stains to the product. We recommend the use of an oil-based impregnation sealer, it protects from liquid dirt and maintains the natural appearance of the coating (Follow the manufacturer's guidelines).
Use neutral detergent for daily cleaning, mixing the detergent in a bucket with water. Do not apply detergent directly to the floor. In case of cleaning after constructions and/or more severe dirt, use alkaline detergent.
